The Timbers Fish Market Est. 1980

The retail fish market, located in the lobby of The Timbers Restaurant has been an integral part of The Timbers Restaurant & Fish Market since 1980. Our Sanibel Fish Market is part of “The Fishious Cycle”…  Is our fish so fresh because we sell so much of it, or do we sell so much of it, because it is so fresh? Either way, you, our patrons are the winners! Having two busy outlets to sell fresh fish and shellfish enables us to offer a larger and fresher selection than either just a restaurant or just a fish market. Following is our product list, broken down into four categories:

  • ALWAYS: Seafood we *almost always* have in the market

    Seafood: Shrimp, cooked (Peel ‘n’ Eat, Cocktail Shrimp) uncooked (Large 16/20, Med 36/40), Alaskan King Crab Legs, Clams, Crabmeat, Lobster Tail, Mussels, Oysters, Scallops

    House Prepared Specialties: Crab Cakes, Smoked  Salmon, Crunchy  Grouper, Smoked Fish Dip, New England Clam Chowder, Manhattan Clam Chowder,; Crab Bisque, Seafood Gumbo, Cocktail Sauce, Mustard Sauce, Dill Sauce, Tartar Sauce, Mango Sauce, Sweet Chili Sauce, Chowder Base, Seaweed Salad, Calamari Salad, Cole Slaw, Pasta Salad, Smoked Fish Dip

    House Cut Beef: Filet Mignon (2 sizes), New York Strip, Top Sirloin (other cuts available upon request) Desserts- Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, Bourbon Pecan Pie, House made Chocolate Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee, Apple Crisp

    *Almost Always:*  Never say never, conversely means never say always! On rare occasions we will sell out of a product or it may not be available to us for any number of reasons, but 99% of the time we will have these products in stock. Our fin fish- are listed in the other 2 categories.

  • USUALLY: Seafood we have more than not, including seasonal items (Stone Crab Claws, etc.)

    Stone Crab Claws (Oct.15-May.15), Soft Shell Crabs (spring & summer months), Cobia, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, Red Snapper, Scottish Salmon, Swordfish, Tilapia, Tuna

  • OCCASIONALLY: Seafood that we get every so often, usually from local fisherman

    Amberjack, Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Golden Tilefish, Haddock, Halibut, Hake, Hog Snapper, Kingfish, Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Pompano, Scamp Grouper, Silver Snapper,  Sole,  Sashimi, Sushi, Tomato  Bisque, Triggerfish, Tripletail, Wahoo

  • NEVER: Frozen or proportioned fin fish

Monday-Saturday: Open at 11am

Sunday: Open at 2pm
